Teri is a Licensed Professional Counselor with her Master of Arts in Biblical counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Teri began her counseling career as an intern at the Minirth clinic in 1998, as an assistant to Dr. Frank Minirth.
Teri's philosophy and theory of counseling is to address the whole person: Spirit, Soul, and Body. It is her preference to address both the spiritual and the psychological needs of her clients. She believes Jesus Christ is the foundation of her labors together in a counseling setting. She believes it is through His power that healing occurs through whatever method He chooses and leads us through in counseling. Her guidelines for creating a treatment plan incorporate an approach to counseling that takes into account the spiritual, psychological, emotional, social, and biological dimensions of the whole person.
